Knit Pickin' Light Weight No Show (Clearance)

I'm with Joey - these socks instantly have a hole where the plastic thing goes through, and I haven't even put them on my foot yet! Not sure why the plastic is necessary - the two socks come on a piece of cardboard, and I don't think they're easily coming off that. I really love these socks - but now 3 of my 6 brand new pairs have holes. :(

Not my first time buying this brand. Have been impressed the first couple of purchases. Socks were fairly priced and very comfortable. Bought my wife two pairs recently and within two weeks of wearing they already have holes in them. The problem is where they were tagged with the plastic piece holding them together. Nice socks overall but disappointed at quality now.
